Personal data protection policy

We inform you that the personal data you provide will be processed by Alquiler de Coches Green Car Tenerife S.L., as data controller, for the purposes indicated below and in application of recital 48 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (RGPD).

  • Treatment and purposes: (I) Attention of information requests received by any means. (II) Manage requests received through the web, by phone or over the counter, for car rental reservations. (III) Control of the quality of the service. (IV) Registration of clients for the management of the contract linked to the rental service. (V) Issuance of invoices, fiscal and commercial accounting management. (VI) Attention to users’ privacy rights. (VII) Registration and communication of vehicle rental data to the competent authorities.
  • Legitimation: (I), (II) and (III) Consent of the interested party. (IV) Execution of contract or pre-contract for the provision of services. (V), (VI) and (VII) Legal obligation.
  • Addressee: (II) Green Car Tenerife for reservation management (V) D.G. de Tráfico in case of having received any infraction (V) AEAT, Registro Mercantil, Tributos del Gobierno de Canarias (VII) Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad, Autoridad judicial y Ministerio Fiscal.
  • Conservation period: (I) and (II) The period necessary to attend and manage the request, (III), (IV), (V), and (VI) Six years for commercial and contractual purposes, in case of application of certain tax regulations, during the period of prescription of possible verifications of the Tax Administrations, subsequently the data will be kept blocked for judicial purposes. (VII) Three years the obligatory register is kept by the person in charge of the treatment.

Data collected

When you complete our form, we may collect and process the following personal data:

  • Telephone number.
  • Hotel.
  • Date and time of pick up and return.
  • Type of car.
  • Any other information you voluntarily provide.
